This is the Sound

2025  ·  text, sound

A fifteen-minute poetic audio essay on listening, history, and ambiguity. It discusses the legacy of Guglielmo Marconi, the legendary and complicated pioneer of wireless telecommunications, and his alleged beliefs concerning the persistence of sonic resonance.

This piece was partly inspired by Mark Booth's This is the Sound of the Milky Way, in which I had a very minor supporting role in 2008.
