Channeling live-giving spectacle and feminist/anti-capitalist rage, SLZY MYLFS is a band I play synthesizer in. Our shows performatively bend live music's conventions, including digressions such as collecting merch from the audience to sell back to them, pitching app ideas with an overhead projector, and crowd surfing via "light as a feather, stiff as a board."
Conceptualized as an open container (see our logo), SLZY MYLFS often feature special guests, "interns," and friends. These have included Issac Endo, Kyle Hossli, Elle Hong, Phil Stearns, Paulus van Horne, Max Bernstein & Zara, Uli Miller, Gabby Subia, and the folks at Denver Fringe, Fort Greene, and Roots Music Project.
