Prosthesis began as my MFA thesis work in Literary Arts at Brown University. It is a suite of sound/performance poems, including sequences of duets with a projected screen, exploring blurry conceptual divisions between self, other, and technological apparatus. There were many performances of many versions of the work over the subsequent five years, and eventually it coalesced into a book, Prosthesis.
